Hello!

I'm Erica Mynard and for almost thirty years, I have worked in retail, customer service and regional theatre. For just as long and probably a bit longer, I have been an actor and amateur writer too.  As deputy sales manager and later Box Office manager, I wrote copy and promotional emails  for our audiences. As well as researching, creating and writing the leaflets and web copy for the theatre's Access Scheme.

As someone who enjoys travel, I documented a lot of my journeys in photographs and diaries.  When I have spare time, I enjoy making videos and writing fan fiction for The Flying Doctors - Keep Them Flying , a Facebook group dedicated to one of my favourite television shows. In 2020, I trained in copywriting with the College of Media and Publishing and launched ELM Copy and Creative in November of the same year. I added an SEO qualification to my portfolio in 2022 and created Hidden Spirit Productions in 2023.

 

I now work as a freelance copywriter and independent creative and theatre producer as well as Duty Manager for  one of the country's most successful regional theatres.
